Harvest is off to a slow start, but just in time for a wonderfully warm weekend, our new release, 2023 La Encantada Vineyards Pinot Blanc, is your TGIF wine this week.  This is a bold statement, but I can definitively state that my favorite white wine is now Pinot Blanc.  I find it so crisp, clean, interesting, complex, and pretty all at once.  TGIF=$30/bottle.

Here is the wine club schedule:

• You will receive your wine order via email on October 5th, and you have about a week to make changes.

• Credit cards are charged on October 14th.

• Wine Club is ready to pick up in the tasting room on October 16th.

• Wine Club will be shipped on October 23rd.

The 2023 Fall Wine Club wines are as follows:

• 2023 Pinot Blanc from La Encantada Vineyard

• 2022 G Street Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir (blend of 777 and Pommard Clones)

• 2021 Sangiovese from Adobe Canyon Vineyard in the Los Olivos District

Hello Friends,

Harvest officially started for us yesterday. We brought in two tons of perfectly ripe Sta. Rita Hills Pinot Noir.  It is always dicey firing up the equipment that has been resting for nine months, and you never know what problems you will uncover.  This week, we just had to replace our pH meter, so I'm feeling pretty lucky!!

This week our TGIF wine is the 2021 Tempranillo from Adobe Canyon Vineyard. I love this wine for its amazing versatility.  It pairs seamlessly with all kinds of cuisine and it can be both on the light side as well as a full-bodied glass of wine.  TGIF=$30/bottle for members only.

I am so pleased to release our 2022 G Street Pinot Noir.  This is a wonderful Sta. Rita Hills blend of two different vineyards and three different clones.  The G Street will be part of our Fall wine club release but we thought we would kick off Labor Day weekend with a new wine for TGIF.  Released at $50/bottle, TGIF=$30/bottle for members only.

Our TGIF this week is the 2021 La Pareja.  La Pareja translates to "the couple" in Spanish and we think that Grenache and Syrah are quite possibly the perfect couple.   This is a delightful and robust blend of Syrah from Zotovich Vineyard in Sta. Rita Hills and Grenache from Portico Hills Vineyard in Los Alimos. Regularly $46/bottle.  TGIF=$30/bottle.  Let me know if you want to pick it up, stash it, or ship it.
