I hope you are all doing great! First, this is the last call to make a reservation for the October 14th Winemaker Dinner. On Friday, I will give the remaining spots to the Mission Club for them to sell to their members. Please let Tina or myself know in the next two days.

We have a new release wine for TGIF today and a library wine. The TGIF is our 2021 El Camino Syrah from Santa Ynez Valley. This Syrah is outstanding and will be in the Fall release wine club. This weekend, you can purchase it for $30/bottle. Also, we have a few cases left of our 2020 Adobe Canyon Vineyard Tempranillo, $50/bottle. Let me know if you want to pick up, stash, or ship either of these wines.

On Saturday, October 14th, at 6 pm, at the Mission Club in Lompoc, please join us as Chef Justin West pairs an incredible meal with some of our Fall release wines. There is limited seating, so please purchase your tickets ASAP. Here are the details. $125/person includes a seven-course dining experience with seven different Transcendence wines. Tax and tips are also included in the price. You can purchase tickets in the tasting room or directly through me by responding to this email.

Every week, we have a TGIF deal, which means one of our wines is $30/bottle. Occasionally, we also do case specials. This week, we have both. Our TGIF deal this week is our 2021 Zotovich Chardonnay (a crisp and refreshing stainless steel Chardonnay). First, the hurricane did not touch us, I don't think we got a drop of rain but it was a little windy on Monday morning. 

Second, there are a number of you who have not picked up your wine club from May. I would love it if you could come by this weekend and pick up your wines or any other TGIF's that we have stashed for.  Why?  Because I'm ready to start bringing in some new wines and I don't have any room.  THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU!!!

The Central Coast is officially experiencing summer, which means we are sweltering in the high 70s...LOL!!!

I hope your 4th of July was a grand celebration. It is sure nice when a holiday falls in the middle of the week. The whole world seems to slow down. It is finally warm here in Lompoc, and the long wait makes it sweeter. Our TGIF this week will be the 2022 Grenache Blanc for the special price of $25 a bottle. If you are a red-only wine club customer, I recommend trying this wine. Served cold, this wine is fresh and crisp on the palette and releases a soft citrus essence—a great summer wine. Typically, we don't release our heaviest reds in June, but it is as cold as any winter day. Our TGIF this week will be the 2020 Providence. Many of you have reached out regarding Joey's speech last night at the City Council meeting. (You can view it on my Instagram @sadre73) We appreciate your support and know you feel the same about our Lompoc homeless problem. The 9th Circuit ruling makes it very difficult for cities across the country. However, it does allow for alternatives, and that requires savvy leadership. I also have experienced exhaustion from trying to change things and getting nowhere, but it is time to rally again. We need to encourage our city leaders to explore alternatives, stay vigilant, and commit to public safety.

I lied last week. The sun is not coming out, but cozy up and drink a bid dark blend.
