Hello Friends,

Harvest always brings reflection, and this year feels especially meaningful. For the past 25 years, Joey and I have kept a record of every single pick, every varietal, every vineyard, every vintage. Looking back through those pages, we realized that this year was the latest harvest we’ve ever had—almost two weeks later than any in our history. It’s one more reminder that no two vintages are alike, and each tells its own story.

This release also brings some fun milestones worth celebrating: the 2023 Zotovich Chardonnay is our 13th vintage, the 2022 La Encantada Pinot Noir marks our 11th vintage, and the 2021 Providence is our 9th vintage of crafting this Super Tuscan–style blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Sangiovese, and Syrah. Each one reflects not just the vineyard and the vintage, but also the long relationships with growers that make these wines possible.

Life at home has shifted, too. With both kids out on their own adventures, the house is quieter these days, no teenagers coming and going at all hours! While we miss that energy, Joey and I are deeply grateful for this new season of connection, with more time to reflect, dream, and pursue our lives in new ways.

As many of you know, the winery was built in the margins of our lives—late nights and weekends after long days at our “regular” jobs. That rhythm shaped who we are as winemakers and as a family. This August, alongside the winery, I re-opened my consulting practice. The timing feels right, and I now serve as a Cultural Transformation and AI Adoption leader, guiding organizations across industries to embrace technology and innovation while keeping people at the center of change.

Through it all, the winery remains our anchor, a place of joy, creativity, and

connection. Every glass carries not only the story of the vineyard and our family but also becomes part of your story, your time, your place, your moments shared. That is the greatest gift of all.

With warmth and gratitude,

Sara, Joey, Tina, and Caitlin
