Sangiovese

Hello Friends,

This week’s TGIF Special is something close to my heart: our 2021 Sangiovese from Adobe Canyon Vineyard.

Adobe Canyon is tucked away in the hills of the Los Olivos District. It is quiet, beautiful, and a little off the beaten path. It is a small, family vineyard, and we are fortunate to make all of the wine that comes from it. That kind of relationship is rare, and it shows up in the glass.

The 2021 Sangiovese is vibrant and expressive, with red cherry, a hint of spice, and that earthy backbone that makes Sangiovese so food-friendly and easy to love. It is the kind of wine that does not need a special occasion, but somehow makes any night feel like one.
